Maybe this is already common knowledge (I didn't do a search before posting this) but...

FYI, I don't know if they're made under contract by TracRac or not but the stock H2 bars are pretty near identical to the popular TracRac pickup rack systems, which means the tie down slides fit perfectly in the grooves. For those of you who use our racks to carry stuff on top, that means you can pick up these little ditties for about $40/pr to make life a LOT easier for carrying lumber and such on top.

They make all kinds of other junk too like bike carriers, kayak carriers, blah blah blah at prices I would guess are way below what Hummer dealers are charging for similar OEM accessories.
Wish I'd known this all along....

Looks like it would work to me! Nice find

http://www.tracrac.com/index.htm

Theres no way I would be sticking my bikes on top though, but the lumber, etc carrying looks like a good deal.

Yup, they definitely work...picked up two pair of the tie down sliders last night and they fit like gloves. It looks like the Thule stuff might fit as well...the slots are similar, but I didn't test fit to confirm. The TracRacs are dead on.

I was wondering about the Thule. Seems like almost anything would work with the propper bolt or bolt and washer.

Ha...had a feeling I wasn't the first to notice.

Wow, what a jackass reposting something from just a few days ago. Sorry 'bout that.
