Hello and thanks for looking. I was wondering I will be applying for a lease with gmac for a hummer sut but I am only 18 and have 1 year credit history and have a credit score of 760. I will have a co-signer who is 26 and has a 690 credit score. Does anyone have any idea if I might get approved or if I will? Please post any comments. Thank you

NO.

Just kidding. Most likely you will. Congrats!

A down payment and job will help you also.

If you don't get approved you could talk to forum member "Humm This". His daddy could hook you up with some "weekend jobs" and you'd have enough to pay cash by summertime.

You just need to have access to many, many cell phones.

It will be very tough for you to get approved on your own. You have a better chance with a co-signer. They don't just look at your credit score, however. They look at the entire picture of your credit report, and there's different scores depending on whether you're applying for a mortgage, auto, etc.
