I've noticed a clunk noise in my front end either moving forward or back (not sure of wheel direction) but I did notice some oil leaking from my driver side front (stock) shock. I've got the extended warranty now so I don't want to pay $100 to take it in and have some tech replace a $10 shock (I was planning on doing that myself with better ones)...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
David

Well if the shock is broken it will clunk and leak oil. Have you grabbed a hold of it and tried to wiggle it? Also, if your shock mount bushing is worn out it will clunk. It's hard to say what it is. A tire shop could look at it for you too.
my 2 cents

Hi,
Yes, I've held and tried to shake it but nothing seems ajar... Maybe I just have to workout more.
Thanks,
David

If it's more of a pop than a clunk there is a TSB (actually there is a TSB on the clunk too) about the left fender "popping." Mine did that and we had to "dent" the inner fender to stop the popping.
