Just got home from Watching it!!!
Never read the book...Holy Shiit..great movie!
I loved the story more than the movie.
Can see why there is a religious debate over this one!

I thought it was a great all around movie, as long as you can pay attention(NO, I repeat no Kids[or Distractions])!

IMO

Can anyone tell me how close the movie is to the book? The book was soooooo good, I don't want to ruin anything by seeing the movie.

I also read the book and thought it was an excellent thriller. I am going to see the movie, however with all the books I have read prior to seeing the movies, I have found that the movies very rarely measure up to the books. I fully expect this movie to fall into that catagory.

I saw Poseiden last night and I was very disapointed. There's 93 minutes of my life I won't be getting back. Unfortunately it seems the same thing applies to remakes as well. They never seem to be as good as the original.

Next 2 movies on my list to see are The DaVinci Code and Silent Hill.

I liked Silent Hill, as long as you go into realizing that is is based upon the video game. Some Pretty freaky dudes on this one!

I will see it. I am in the camp that it is just a book, and, what if the early church did decide to alter history to fit their zealousy? Just saying...

HAJI movies!!! I have been home only a few months and I miss them already. Saw Star Wars I two weeks before it's release They make it just like the theater, you get to see the people sitting all around and you can see them getting up and moving, the dude with the camera coughing. New releases weeks, sometimes months before release, all for $3 or $4. Sat thru many rocket and mortar attacks watching them. If you ever need anything over there, let me know.

We're going to go see it. I mean it's only a movie. My wife read the book and said it was pretty good. I don't see what all the fuss is about.
