It's tradition for the "New Guy" to hold the HUMMER Dinner.

Yeah, there's a dozen or so of us that get together for wheelin and dinners in the metro area.

The next time will be the day before everyone heads to Moab I'm sure.
We'll be taking our H2 and H3 this year. The H3's do very well in Moab. just make sure to get the Rock Rails and factory UCP protection before you head out. Although there are pleanty of trails to do without that stuff, all it takes is one wrong line and your banging off of some rock or ledge. Better safe than sorry.

Do you have the off road susp (LOCKER)? If so, get the potection parts, a spare tie rod and your set. most of us have enough tools and mechanical skilZ to get by if something does happen.

don;t pay retail for the GM stuff either. Send me a PM when you get a chance and I can point you in the "cheaper" dirrection.

Oh, one more thing, you can wheel all over Moab and NOT trash your rig.
Many (most) of the trails have optional ways around and we all take time to spot through the difficult stuff.

I do not have the "Locker" and to the best of my knowlege its the base model H3 in terms of suspension. We had a blast just playing a little bit yesturday and look forward to future events.

thanks again,
Nick
