Default Part throttle shift points...

I have been trying to locate a computer programer that will allow me to program part throttle shift points. The hypertech says it can do this, but after going through the manual on line i see it only changes this when you change the tire size setting.....i have stock tires and this doesnt give you much control anyways.

The shift that always bugs me is the slow speed downshift from 2 to 1. Example. You pull out of the driveway and slowly accellerate up to 20 or so then hit the brakes and slow for a turn, after the turn the H2 is in 2nd gear and you have to press the pedal almost all the way to the floor in order to get a downshift to first which is then very Violent. This is VERY VERY VERY annoying.

I want it to pop down to first easier, with less pedal pressure. Is there any programer that will do this? Does the hypertech just automaticly fix this lame problem???

Changing tire size in programmer will affect speedo

Best bet is to lower gearing to 4.56:1 to take load off of lower of the two gears

I just did a little more investigation, looks like the Diablo sport will do the trick.
