Trail Clean up This weekend
For those that are attending, you have been PM'd for the meeting time and place.
I want to applaud you for your efforts. Without trail maint. and cleaning up the areas, our trails will be closed if too many tree huggers see the garbage.
Since some of you will be traveling from all over the metro area, make sure you know of the road constructions that will impede you from being on time.

There will be a BBQ later that evening for all those that helped. Co HUMMER will PM you dirrections to his chosen site for this.
Thanks, see y'all on Sat.

Well let's not keep this a PM thing. Here's where I propose we have the BBQ:
There's this quaint little restoration/revegetation area just west of the Spring Creek trail. Drive straight up this trail pictured below(careful, don't get your tires sliced as you roll over the sign) and park in the rocky area that's covered with lichen.
I do need some help though. Would the first person to arrive there please :
(1) do a semi-controlled burn of the meadow area to make room for generators, and
(2) Dig a large pit for us throw our garabage in.
See ya Sat!

Re: Trail Clean up This weekend
WTF???
Why was I not invited. I've cleaned trails before, and would be happy to help protect your trail. I have an H2 so I think I can handle the terrain just fine and I will bring a shovel to fill in some of the deep spots for the 3's. I also have some helpful tools for the BBQ later like a left handed smoke shifter and a bacon straightner. If CP is making petti-fors again the bacon straightner is good to have as it prevents the bacon from getting all gnarly and messing up the composition of the samiches.

Dude,
We didn't mean to be rude, but this is sort of a Colorado-only H2 group outing. We don't want outsiders to freak out when we they see us bringing our garabage to the trail, etc. You just have to live here to understand. Please from out East or Northern California shouldn't presume know what we're all about.

I agree.
On another note, I just got word that we will have a guest appearance this weekend.

Re: Trail Clean up This weekend
I know I'm a little late posting, but I want to thank all those that attended our trail mint. I know we saved quite a bit of the Crypto. I appreciate those that helped. I believe Co HUMMER's basement will be a great sanctuary for last weeks gathering.
Let's keep up the good work.
