Default Re: Royal Purple Engine Oil Question>>

FYI ,if the truck has used dino oil since new and you switch to SYN oil you may get leaks . You got a 50 50 chance . Also Royal Purple is great oil for high preformance high reving engins ,but is not going to give you anything in a stock H2. It is too $$$$$ for your stock H2 . If you want Syn oil Mobil1 or Castoroil Syn is cheaper and works as well in a stock engine. Save you money and spend it on something that you need . For the money Chevron Supream 10/30 works perfectly if you change it and the filter every 4000 miles . I have a 2004 Chevy 2500 HD with a 6.0 that has 312000 miles on it and has used Chevron Supream 10/30 since new ,and is still going strong .
