Nope. Most of us take them off when we go off road, or we do not have them at all. Some of the hummer U steps allow for quick on and off. When off road at times you end up using the rocker protection...so having the steps on would really eat them up fast.

those steps look like there are part of the rock rail. meaning no way of taking them off. as they are part of the rockrail or above the rock rail they probably would be fine.
