This morning I had to slam on the brakes again and the ABS was a problem. I was driving across town on 37th St. which is a 2-lane street and I sped up to make the light. Then this out-of-town tourist decides to make a right from the left side and cut across my lane. I had about 20 feet distance and was going maybe 40 MPH and hit the brakes full force. One short skid then the brakes completely lightened up and it seem like I was gliding forever. Fortunately I had some room to the right and avoided the idiot.

I am now convinced that my ABS is too sensitive. If I would have not hit the brakes full force and the ABS didn't activate I would have stopped sooner for sure.

I would suggest taking it the dealer to check out if you feel there is an issue. Certainly better than waiting to slam into another car and being certain...
