Over ride GPS System

Just had a Pioneer AVIC-D in dash GPS system installed. Here is the wrinkle... you can only enter/change destinations while in park and with parking brake engaged. I did some Googling to see how to override the parking brake hookup and found out that it also is tied to your speedometer and the GPS tracking system. Meaning the system won't let you enter/change the destination if you are moving. Damn! Does anyone know how to override all that without messing up the entire system? otherwise it is a sweet system.

I don't know about the Pioneer system, but if you have an installation manual in pdf I could take a look at it for you.

With my Kenwood it was really easy.
1) locate the parking sensor wire (green), remove it from your parking brake and just ground it.

I understand the first hack (being able to change nav settings while on the move) but what's this one for?
