PAC is now shipping an iPod adapter:

quote:
Want to control your Apple iPod™ from your factory radio? Get the AUX-POD and get direct sound from your iPod™ into your factory stereo!

No more sound degrading FM modulators. No more dangerous fumbling with the iPod control panel. Get clean, high quality sound playing through your factory radio. Change tracks on your iPod™ from the factory radio or from your steering wheel controls (on vehicles with audio controls on steering wheel). The AUX-POD automatically turns off the iPod™ when the radio is out of AUX-mode or when vehicle/radio is turned off. The iPod™ also charges the iPod™ when connected to the AUX-POD. The AUX-POD works on the iPod™ mini and 3rd generation iPods. Even works with the new 4th generation iPod!!

Klaus,

Sweet -

But doesn't mention if you can see the track names via the read out on the head unit...

If not, it is only 1/2 of the solution...

BMW has a way to do this...
