Labor Day Wheeling - Deer Valley
Ran the Deer Valley Trail today. It was me, Hummbebe, and H2 Bully (w/ Bully13 riding shotgun). We also had a guy in a built-up Toyota from one of the Sac. 4x4 clubs join us.
H2 Bully at the first water crossing.

Re: Labor Day Wheeling - Deer Valley
After the water crossings, the second half of the trail was basically one long rock garden.

Re: Labor Day Wheeling - Deer Valley
Me and Hummbebe (and her family) camped at Lower Blue Lake Sunday night. We took another trail in from Highway 88 down to the campground, which is right by the trailhead.
Here's the view from our campsite.

Re: Labor Day Wheeling - Deer Valley
I'll have some pics up tonight.
It was a great trail, and we had a Toyota with us as you saw in the pic. Mike was an awesome wheeler and his rig was sooper kool too!
Sewie did a great job as trail boss. His wheeling skeels are getting most impressive. Don't tell him I said that or he'll start getting a fat head
The trail was more challenging than I expected. But nothing the threebies and H2Bully couldnt handle.
I did strap Sewies rig into a tree though Sorry dood. It worked out ok, no damage

I'm high centered on two boulders, one frame rail on each of them, and Beeb's is trying to pull me off, but at an angle. The truck just starts pivoting on the rocks and the front end swings toward a tree.
Me: STOP!!!!!!!!
Hummbebe: meh **shrug**
It all worked out though. And I didn't actually hit the tree. Probably felt/looked worse from inside the truck.
