Just dumb trivia...
I hear Ralph Strangis drives an H3...
For those of you not in Dallas, Ralph is the play by play guy for the Stars and has been with the franchise for many many years...
BTW - our on air guys kick the shiznit out of every other team I have heard in the US and Canada (thank you XM)...

I havn't heard your guy but I can't stand some annoucers. I do not listen as much as I watch these days but our TV sucks.

"If he just would have scored those 2 goals that the goalie had stopped they would have won."

We have a captain obvious guy in Philly. Thankfully I have seen more games in person than on TV this year. I really hate it when the TV guys talk over the arena annoucer when I could have heard them just fine.

The cool thing about hockey, when you have a good team (of announcers)is, you get them every game, so they're like family. I personally wish John Madden did every Cowboys game, but in hockey (and I have traveled a bit across the states), our guys in Dallas are awesome!
They're both fun and throw in off-the-wall commentary game-to-game... I personally believe they have a bet that the other can't say a particular phrase each night, because sometimes there's some weird stuff thrown in that just seems a little out there...

John Hughson, Darren Pang and Gary Thorne are good and Al Morganti. Mike Emmerick (sp?) and Bill Clement (sp?) are pretty good to. I think at times Bill forgets where he came from though he was a great annoucer when he worked for the flyers. I wish Barry would have made the jump to to OLN.

If you ever have the opportunity to see a game in Denver those guys are great. There was a guy that would dress up as the opposing team and put on skits through out the game. If the visiting team got a penalty they would show him sitting in the penalty box crying, etc. They also showed him during the kiss of the game where he was kiss another teamate. Pretty funny but if was many years ago so I do not remember everything.

Now watching a game in Chicago 2 years ago was funny. Being from Philly and having Roenick and Amonte on the team. And then getting Zhamnov made the night funny since the Blackhawks suck.
