Default -----HEY THAT'S MY H3-----

I was checking out ebay a little while ago and noticed a red H3 being used as the add vehicle for Antenna X stubby antenna's. It looked familiar so I clicked on the pic and realized that it was my H3 in the pic, not a big deal but, I certainly did not give Antenna X permission to use my rig for profit!
I think he should give me 10% of his sales!
by the way, there is also a white H3 in the add. Check it out, it could be your's!

Sue their arse. By copyright law, he (or she) who holds the negative or original slide, or can prove the original digital photo is theirs, owns the copyright to the photo. I would write them and tell them to either remove the photo of your H3, or pay rights to use it.

X2 I'd be happy with a refund of the price and shipping.

Here it is:

You gotta remember, anytime you post a pic on the net, you put it out there for EVERYONE! You need to watermark it in a conspicuous area if you want to help prevent it. Hey, take it as a compliment. You bought it from them, you like it, it's all good.

For everyone to view, not for everyone to put their stamp on it and profit from it. Besides, how lazy does a company have to be that they have to steal pictures from the web rather than get up and take their own... at the very least they could've asked for permission.

I agree, I'm not saying it's right I'm just stating the facts. If you post a pic it's chances of being used by others is extremely high and one needs to be aware of this beforehand. If it's that big of an issue, I think jp's-h3 will contact them and they will remove it.

And what makes that so obvious that it is yours? I mean really.... It looks like any red H3 out there.

You can tell from a previous pic attachment he posted that it's the same pic. Do a search under antenna and on page 2 you'll see it.

You'd think they would've gotten "someone else's" H3, like one on a dealers lot or a friends or something.... you guys are all over all the Hummer sites and were bound to find out. Could they be that dumb? Yep, maybe so Unless you sent them a photo of your H3 with the new part on it. lol

I think that some of you are taking this thread in the wrong perspective!
I really don't care if he is using the pic, no big deal!
I found it quite amusing actually.
anyway I emailed Antenna X and he replied that any pics used in any of his adds are compensated $10.00 (WOW!).

------------------------Well that's awfully kind of him, why didn't he contact you and compensate you earlier then?!------------------------

BTW - You can negotiate, I say go for 30% of his sales derived from ads containing your image...including all prior sales as well as current and future.
