Alright, I am going to go out on a limb and post a H2 related topic in here (j/k, here come the flames)

Put the GM factory XM kit in my 04 H2 with the Nav system. Everything works perfectly, but for some reason the sound (only on the XM) only comes out of the drivers side (front and rear) speakers only.

Per the directions that Klaus gave me and the ones supplied, everything seems fine....any gurus out there have any idea why this would be....

I do not know anything about the GM XM unit but my aftermarket unit had two RCA cables that came from the antenna receiver to the head unit. Check to make sure both of these have a good connection.

General rule of thumb:

Make certain that BALANCE is set to center.

Starting at the SOURCE, swap the left and right cables with one another. Continue downstream through each interconnect cable, through speaker cables and finally speakers. When the sound swaps sides, you have isolated the problem to the cable you just swapped OR the unit just upstream. If the sound never swaps sides, the problem is in the head unit. I hope this helps.

If all your other audio sources are working fine and you balance is set correctly (BTW - I believe the balance settings are different for each source) then you either have a wiring/connector problem between the factory head unit connectors and the XM Turner, or the XM tuner itself is bad.

Check the pins on the XM Tuner connector. They are very small and one could be bent.

The right audio pin on the factory head unit connector may have been "pushed out" and is not making contact.
