Default If Hummer is done, should I grab a new one while they are still available?

I have one of the first SUT's to roll of the line in 2005. I love it but with the birth of a new baby, I was planning on moving back to an SUV in a year or two.

Now that GM is going to wash their hands of the brand, should I pony up and grab a new H2 SUV now or wait to see what the new owner will do with it?

I know it sounds like desperation but I really only want to drive a Hummer.

On a side note, I have ONLY ever owned a GM vehicle since I was 16. The way GM has whimped out here, that is probably going to change.

If it were me I would get a slightly used new one.
Get some type of extended warrenty and have fun
with it and enjoy the savings over the brand new one
and spend that money on custom items if you want.

Yeah, I've been watching the used market for an '09, obviously not many as of now, but I figure come EOY I'm going to get my second H2 and drive it into the ground before I start to really use the '09...that should give me a solid 10 yr's of HUMMER before I have to face the true grim reality!

I can't imagine driving anything else.

No way am I buying at new H2 at sticker, loaded, for over 70k, I bought my '05 new from a dealer for ~54k loaded.
