Hello fellow hummer enthusiasts. I was searching the net for some info and found this site. I have spent several hours reading various posts in the forum and have been so entertained, and enlightened, that I have decided to join. It’s amusing to read that many of you have had similar experiences as I have with the thumbs up, the middle fingers, the comments and questions at gas stations… as well as various frustrations. I feel a sense of ease and enthusiasm now knowing that I’m not quite so alone in all of this and having a place to find some knowledge.

E-5 actually…
I have a white (snow camo) 2003 H2 with the Lux package. I own about 1/3 of it now while the credit union still has claim over the rest. No modifications, just bone stock. After what I have seen here, I think I’d like to start adding some.
Other than the dunes at Pismo Beach, I haven’t taken it off road yet. Pretty much just go to and from work on the LA freeways. It’s been unstoppable in the snow the last few times I’ve gone home to Tahoe and I love not having to put chains on anymore.

Welcome! If you like off-roading, be sure to check the local SoCal group forum from time to time: http://h2club.org/6/ubb.x?a=frm&s=82...1&f=8756030324
E-mail your contact info to SteveR to be included in his notices. There is also another group we often run with out of Victorville, that usually have a run every last Saturday.
