I've noticed that the radio in my '04 H2 is not as loud as the radio in my '03 Silverado. On the outside & on the window stickers the appear to be the exact same radio(although my '03 truck came w/ XM), but the H2 radio is not anywhere near as loud! The other differences are with the AUTO VOL & AUTO EQ. On the H2 I have either AVOL ON or AVOL OFF......my truck has AUTO VOL OFF, MIN, MED, & MAX. With the AUTO EQ my H2 has NORMAL, DRIVER, REAR, & SPACIOUS......my truck has CUSTOM & TALK. Do I have the radio I'm supposed to in my H2 or is it calibrated incorrectly? It just sucks that it doesn't sound as good as the one in my truck.........

Well I took it into the dealer today.....they weren't able to fix it, but will call it in to the gm techs next week to see what they have to do to fix it. I'm 99% sure that it was calibrated wrong from the factory & the original owner didn't know any different. Hopefully they'll be able to recalibrate it & it will sound better. I also got my drivers side mirror replaced & the straps put on my muffler - had the same thing done to my truck. GM really needs to do something bout these mirrors. My inlaws are in town & their mirrors are shaking & the drivers mirror (which was just replaced in October) isn't working again.
