Has anyone found a source for the center console tray. I checked with the dealer again yesterday and they said there are none available.

I don't know why they are so hard to find. The dealer told me they were difficult to order too. The best advise I can give you is to go back to your dealer and talk to your salesperson. Ask them to snag one out of an H3 on the floor or lot and have them order another one for thiers. Thats how I got mine and they charged me $20. They're bound to have one in one of their H3's. Especially one on the showroom floor.

Good call. I had tried to order it several weeks ago from GMPartDirect but when I went to finalize the order it disappeared from the cart. When I did a search again on the same part number, the results were no part found. Never did get a response to my email about it. It is ordered and hopefully will be on its way soon.

I just let my dealer know that the console tray, in my eyes, was a necessity. We discussed this right after discussing the HUMMER survey, and 2 minutes later I had one.

- I tried to order through them about six months ago but it's on back order so they canceled my order.

Damn it. I was afraid this might happen. Shows pending right now but I wonder for how long. I have not filled out the survey yet so maybe I need to discuss the tray with the dealer

"I have not filled out the survey yet so maybe I need to discuss the tray with the dealer "

I went to the dealerships sales manager with my survey in hand. I played stupid, and asked if it was important for me to complete it. He really encouraged me to answer fully satisfied for all areas. I told him I loved the vehicle, but I wasn't completely satisfied b/c I felt it really should have come with the console tray and mud flaps. He called a service guy to find a tray (I watched him pull it from another vehicle) and take my H3 to the back to install the mud flaps. No charge.
I filled out the survey and handed it to the sales manager while they installed the mud flaps. Twenty minutes later I was on my way.

He can order it but the wait could be forever. The tray actually sits in your center console. I know there is a pic around somewhere but if I recall it is like 3 or 4 inches deep. You can use it to put stuff you need to get to on a regular basis in and other items can go below it in the bottom of the console.

My 2nd H3 (black one) didn't come with one, so I had it in for service because the onstar module was DOA from day one.....I told the service guy about it and they ordered one for me no charge......

But, it's been 3 weeks and it's still not here. I could have lived without it, but the white one has it, and it is worth having IMO.
