I have seen several H1's and H2's (off-road run videos) with large US Flags mounted from the rear of the vehicles and would like to do so for parades, special events. (I have an H2)
Can any of you post pics/info on mounting them?
I'm thinking of those with the flag pole holding the flag at near vertical.

Thanks Phil!
That's kind of what I was thinking of...Did you make it yourself or can it be purchased cheaply? :-)

I have a cheap fix....1" dia copper piping 18" long. Smashed 3 inches on one end in a vice, bent it at 90 degrees. Will drill a couple holes to screw/bolt the flat spot to a 2X4, 8" long, then, bolt the 2X4 to the trailer hitch. Flag pole slides into the copper piping.

Hey Joyce:
I just started the idea this AM before work (just bent the pipe). I was thinking about buying a 1" bit to drill a hole that matched the ball mount hole and bolt there, then I thought I might mount it to a 2X4 and bolt the 2X4 to the hitch ball mount.
I will post pics when I get time to play with this. I'm sure there are other possibilities. The Lefty's unit ( http://www.leftysautomotive.com/acce...ssoryMisc3.htm) is pretty good as well. (but $40).
