2014 C7 Corvette
I've always been a fan of German and Italian sports cars, but if the new C7 Corvette drives as well as it looks, I might find my way back into a Corvette again. I like the front end and sides, althought the back looks like a Camaro. The interior, suspension and chasis geometry is a quantum leap for Corvette. One of my friends was at the unveling and said the interior uses first class materials - something Corvette should have done years ago. GM is saying the first deliveries will be in Sept and my local dealer already has deposits for nine, even though the price hasn't been fixed yet. As long as there are no early production engine or electronic issues I think Corvette has hit a home run.

Re: 2014 C7 Corvette
I agree! This is the first Corvette I've been excited about in years, although I'm going to let them get the first year glitches out of it before I order one. I went to our local Chevy/Cadillac dealer here which handles the Hummer too now, and took home a new C7 Corvette brochure and they said they have 2013 filled with deposits and are taking deposits for 2014 deliveries now at MSRP with no dealer markup. First deliveries should be in August of 2013 he said.

Re: 2014 C7 Corvette
I'm an avid Corvette enthusiast and owner, and a member of Corvetteforums.com as well.
The general consensus of this car on that site has been less than stellar. The main gripe is the rear end looking like a Camaro, which I have to agree. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have one! But come one, if you're going to wipe the slate clean and give us something new and fresh, don't mimic parts / styling off of your 'B Line' sports cars for your 'A Line' car! There have been threads from GM about a tail light upgrade kit which makes it look a little less like the Camaro. Key word "A Little Less".

I agree, i have owned three different generations of vette's and enjoyed driving my last vette the C6. I would have looked at the C7 but for two reasons i am not, the taillights following the camaro and also had a new born son about 7 months ago and need more of a back seat. So i sold my vette and bought a Panamera. Sports meets family sedan.
hope GM changes the azz end by the time it hits the road
