FS: Chrome H2 Hood Handles
I have 2 pairs of OE H2 chrome hood handles in mint condition for sale. Never been installed.
To mount them to the H3 only requires poping off the plastic and drilling 4 small holes for the studs of the handles to go through. The studs have to be cut down first though, which I can do for you at no extra charge if you'd like. I have a pair of these mounted to the hood of my H3 and have gotten lots of compliments!
$60 + Shipping per set

Re: FS: Chrome H2 Hood Handles
Don't they have to be "grinded down" to fit the H3's flat surface?

Re: FS: Chrome H2 Hood Handles
There was a small gap underneath the front of the handles, but a little extra torque on the nut took care of it almost completely.

Re: FS: Chrome H2 Hood Handles
Perhaps one could fabricate a black "plastic wedge" as an "H3 hood adapter"?

I put alot of extra torque on the nut and there is still a gap. I noticed you said "almost" completely. I rather have "completely" completely. Any suggestions on how I can do this?

This would be an easy solution if you had some plastic lying around to fit nicely. Or if you have a belt sander and a lot of paitence, you might try shaving down the back side of the front pad. I don't know how thick the casting is though, or even if it may be solid?

Re: FS: Chrome H2 Hood Handles
for some reason the words Torque and Nut in the same sentence makes me nervous.

Also, Home Depot has plastic "wedges" commonly used for laminate floor installations that might work here.
