Default air ride problem

I have an 03 H2 that has just started displaying service air ride suspension on the dash. The rear sits lower than normal and it rides rough. The compressor runs 3 times each time the car is started for about 30 seconds but the hieght doesn't change. After the 3rd time the compressor runs it quits until the car is turned off and restarted again. Sound like the compressor? any idea on how to check if it is working?

If the compressor is running and does not detect a height change in the rear it will set a code and disable the system. Sounds like you could have a leak or the compressor is too weak to inflate the bags.

Look at post #12 here http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=24471

You may have a plugged inlet filter. Same problem/symptoms I had before I removed my air ride completly.

Thanks Ed. How does yours ride with out the air suspension? Does the car show the service air suspension constantly? Which springs did you use?

All should be in the above post and if not all of your answers are there try to use the advanced search feature and type in my name of Easy Ed under users, should be a bunch on the air ride. I am happy with mine.
