Has any one use these replacement bulbs? I install them on my truck 2.5 months ago and the reflector got cloudy at the reflective coating; my dealer replace them and told me that the PIAA Xtreme white plus produce to much heat and ruin the reflective coating on the lamps! Have any one run into this situation? PIAA says that its bulbs will not produce more heat than the OEMs and they are sending me a new set. Please let me know what your experiences with this are.

Thanks

I tried those and didn't like their light output or their $$PRICE$$. The best 9007 bulbs that I found were the Sylvania SilverStars. Great light output. Much cleaner white light with none of that weak hokey blue light. And the price is MUCH better.

But for real light you need HID's.

DRTY what's up with your HID setup? I like them and wouldn't mind getting a set since I can't see **** at night.

I bought them from my dealership. Install was pretty easy. Just had to modify the headlight bucket and trim down the little tabs so they'd fit into the harness plug.

Sorry, but I'm rushed right now. More later.

The piaa bulbs will not damage the lenses of your H2. Even if you were using the factory bulbs the reflectors would still discolor and peel over time. One of our H2's is only two months old and the drl reflectors are already turning white. No big deal!

Well, I got the replacement bulbs from PIAA, I installed them on the truck and 3 days later and maybe 5 hours of night driving my reflectors once again are fogged out on the upper part and pealing off the reflecting coat... I really do not know what to get of this! The bulbs are 9007, they are not suppouse to produce more heat and Hummer tells me that any 9007 I should be able to use on the truck! PIAA tells me that their bulbs should not damage the reflecting coating on the head lamps. Any sujestions.....?

Since my last posting on 12-7-04 I have replaced the reflector and have installed a set of Sylvania silver star; I like them a lot very clear ans crisp light and better than anything else my reflector are as good as new.
