Picked up my H2 on Monday night. 03 Sunset Metallic Orange. Base model but awesome nonetheless. Sure wish it got better gas mileage because that is the only negative feedback that I have gotten. I don't drive alot anyway so it's not a major concern for me but there is definitely a stigma attached. Has anyone ever found a definitive list of mpg for all suv's?
Took my son off-road at a farm near our house. He was thrilled.
Look forward to being an active member here at the forum. Hope our local dealership gets some gatherings organized soon.
I am seeing more and more H2's on the road here in St. Louis. Doesn't seem that the environmentalists efforts are paying off. I checked my dealers page and it seems that he had unloaded what seemed like an overwhelming inventory of 03's. Is this the case anywhere else?
How much fun is this damn truck!?

RMST,

Congrats on the new rig! 10 months in for me, and the excitment is still there (especially now that I have been in a rental car for the past couple of days!)

Nice color choice. Welcome to the family. I am sure you will have a blast with your rig. If people give you lip about your gas mileage just laugh and say "so what". It's none of their business anyway.

Besides, I'm getting the exact same mileage on mine that I got from my 2500 ext cab 4x4 Silverado!

Congrats on the new H2! I have had mine for a little over a week now and still want to be driving it constantly. I have had several people ask me about the gas mileage, depending on how they ask I either tell them:

It gets much better mileage than my boats, snowmobiles & 4wheelers do.

It gets a little less than my Lincoln did but I can burn regular instead of premium now so its actually saving me money.

It gets about the same as a large van or a 3/4 to 1 ton pickup does.

My dealer in Milwaukee had quite a few 03's left last week (way more than he had 04's)
