I'm pretty close to purchasing an H3. I'm just wondering how rare it is to find a Yellow Hummer H3 Adventure Package with a Manual Transmission and a Sunroof. Is that too much for me to be asking for? Does anyone on this forum own one or see them at dealerships that often? I just want to know if this is a rare combination or if they are more abundant in the market.

You can get whatever you want if you order it and are willing to wait a little while.

Jusy specify what you want and refuse to settle for less.

You'll get it.

What you want is probably in stock somewhere.

I think the order queue is running 8 weeks or less now.

Just insist on what you want. You'll get.

Don't settle... settleing sucks. A Hummer is a very personal statement. So make yours ... well... yours.

Our percentage is going up March 1st so it might not take as long if you do decide to order one.

My dealer in devner was not able to find exactely what I wanted. They ha a similar one in Cincinnati and New Orleans. This was last fall so I didn't want to buya vehicle that may have ben under hurricane water. So We picked the one in cincinnati. I could have waited 8-12 weeks to get exactely what I wanted or go to pay the dealer $2000 to havfe it delivered. Instead I told my dealer that they needed to work out something with the Cicy people or I would go there and buy it from them. They arranged it and I flew out to get it...I got a great deal on airfare and loved driving it back to Colorado.

The only change was to remove the chrome stepps and put on black. WE are very happy and don't really remember what I wasn't able to get with it...no DVD...no biggie, no kids anyway.

I searched in a 5000 mile radius, there was one of those trucks, and it was marked as being ordered as a sold unit.

What makes these H3's so rare, the manual tranny?

Manual tranny, yellow, adventure, sunroof, take your pick. The adventures have not been selling well at all, nor have the yellows, nor the 5-speeds. The sunroofs are hard to come by, because everyone wants them.

That's what I'm doing. I'm not going to settle for what's on the lot just so the dealer can move stock.

I want my Hummer the way I want...Unless of course my option package is on the lot.

IMO, if you are planning any off-roading, I would highly recommend the auto.
