PARAGON has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default

My truck is in the shop for the torsion bar and other stuff. I spoke to the service rep (not service tech) and he said they were almost done but didn't think it would be done today and I am to come pick it up on Monday.

Asked about the banging sound in the left front end. The rep said that there was a bulletin on that. Klaus do you know of a bulletin for a "popping sound from the left front?"

Thanks Klaus,

I hope that my service rep is not referring to the bulletin you posted a link to. The description doesn't sound anything like what mine was doing.

Paragon,

These are the bulletins I thought might be relevant.

There may be newer bulletins released on GM's online system (I don't have access to it).

Thank you for your trouble Klaus, the "Noise Diagnosis - Front Suspension" sounds like it would accompany my problem.

We'll see come Monday

Thanks Klaus,

I hope that my service rep is not referring to the bulletin you posted a link to. The description doesn't sound anything like what mine was doing.

Damn if I couldn't have been any more wrong.

Thanks again Klaus! Since I had read the TSB you posted I was able to talk shop with the tech and it helped get things fixed up right.

Glad I could be of assistance.

Now I know that the "Get a bigger hammer approach" really works!
