Okay guys and gals....my door handle on passenger door outside gets stuck and then when you try to open the door from the inside it wont open it....
So to explain it another just in case...when you pull the door handle from outside it doesnt go all the way back to its initial position which then you cant open the door from the inside...
Any fixes? before I take the door apart?
I was thinkign of using WD-40 before taking it apart what you think?

When you pull the handle from the outside, is there spring tension trying to pull it back to its seated position but it doesn't quite get there? If yes, then my unqualified hallucination is, something is wrong with the green thing or it's related parts. If that's the case, WD-40 will only make a mess.
If you want pics of the door guts, I have others from different angles.

Mine was doing the samething. I sprayed some WD-40 into the door handle around the hinges. Seemed to work for me. I think if these doors don't get used alot they just get dirty and sticky.

Worth a try. Worst case, if you have to crack the door open later you have a little clean-up to do. If you pull the rectangular, plastic panel behind the inside door handle you'll have better access than shooting blind through a stuck-in straw.
The door panel really isn't hard to get off. Be patient and work your way around the edge so you don't put sideways stress on the fasteners as you remove them.

I've got the same problem and WD40 does not work. There definitely is a lack of spring tension pulling the handle back in. Does anyone know what part needs to be replaced to fix this? The whole handle?
Thanks.
