AVIC-D1 nav system problems

I need help from the tech guys. I had an AVIC-D1 installed. They f*&^ed it up, The steering wheel controls don't work & the fade control don't work. I checked out the installer before they touched my h2 - they have worked on quite a few h2s. But this is not the issue. HAS ANYONE INSTALLED THIS UNIT & WHAT CONTROLERS DID YOU BUY FOR THE STEERING WHEEL & WHAT INTERFACE DID YOU GET FOR THE AVIC-D1 TO THE H2. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!

I had no problems with my interfaces. I had the Avic in my "03 Trying to remember which ones we used. I had mine put in by Good Guys. Maybe you could call them and ask what they use... PAC rings a bell but im not good with tech stuff, so I could be off base.

I put a AVIC n1 in my 04 used a sound gate steering wheel control. Onstar volume can not be controlled through the wheel control. I am still fine tuning my system. I am still looking to control the onstar volume. check out the pac swi-x bose might be what you are looking for. JP Customs has great support Email them with your question
