Default PURCHASING AFTERMARKET WHEELS

Hi everybody its my first post here so have mercy please . I am trying to swap out my factory wheels with some nicer aftermarket. Im just going to keep the stock 16s for now. But they problem I am finding is that many wheels that I am interested in are no Hub Centric which is a requirement for the H3. From the current posts I notice some of you do have wheels that are non-hubcentric aftermarket? I was wondering where you got the fitment rings? Or if not using rings have you noticed any excess highway vibrations in the driving? I would like to go with a rim such as the Helo Maxx 6 or Moto Metal 951 or similar which are not hub centric. I have noticed some of you do have these wheels. Any help is greatly appreciated.

After speaking with different people I is determined that H3 wheels are not hub centric but are big bore. I guess we just need to look for aftermarket wheels that have a big bore fitting. Can somebody that is knowlegeable confirm this?

i had an email back from Helo, the 16x8 maxx6 wheel is a zero offset, so by being 1/2 inch wider than stock, and 30mm less positive offset, it will stick out about an inch wider than sotck.. no big deal really, especially if you get the fender flare kit.. my dealer here has several H3's on the Helo rim, it looks good.

Helo also aid the center bore was (i forgot!)... something 1.02?? not sure.. but if the dealer has them on H3's and they sell them this way, i'm sure the hub fits..

Are you changing out both tires and rims?

I ordered the ones with the bigger center bore. 4 Wheel Parts wanted to charge me $300 bucks for the mounting and swapping the wheel sensors. I went to Discount Tire and they said no additional charge. Anyways will post the end result pics.

You can search at Tire Discounters for a nice Unique 252 wheel, similar pricing to the helo, but it has 18m offset, which will not stick out as far as the helo 0 offset.

I still am confused about the bore diameter on the H3.. anyone know the size?
