ONSTAR DEAL #2
got a call from onstar last night offering me ANOTHER 100 minutes for $14.99. last week i took advantage of the initial 100 minutes for $14.99, which gave me 130 minutes (the 30 is the initial free minutes.) now i have 230 for the year. not a bad deal for 30 bucks. it's good backup to have if we forget the cell phone. also got a tire warranty in the mail that gives free service for flats etc. it seems to go beyond what onstar will do. anyone else get this, or made use of it? i feel gm offers some nice perks. toyoto offered dick.

Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
Wow! How do I get these deals? They don't call or email me to offer anything, other than the monthly service report.

they called out of the blue. ithought they were soliciting me for the FIRST 100 minute deal. but the guy said, no, we can offer you another 100 minutes as an additional promotion. anyway, give them a call. i'm sure they'll match it. unless the guy who called me screwed up. but it didnt sound like that. he also asked me whether i had gotten my wallet card yet with all the pertinent numbers, like my onstar phone number etc etc. i hadnt and he said it had gone out and to call back if i dont get it in a week or so. like i said, nice service and perks.

Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
I just bought my H3 in December and got offered the 100 minutes for the same price but never got the call for the second time. I also got something in the mail about all the tire stuff that is covered. It pays for rims, tires, flat tires, etc. Pretty good deal. 2 years are included and you can buy an additional 2 years as well. I guess this all comes with buying a new Hummer or part of the warranty. I was pretty happy so I am not complaining.

Thanks Dude....!!! Just hung up with the ONStar Beeyoch... At first she said that there is no plan like this available after your first
plan at $14.99. You only get the 130 min deal one time.
Then I told her I'm on the Elcova Hummer Forum and one of it's members was contacted my On Star and received a second special 100 min package at $14.99.
She then told me she is not aware of this offer and it is not available. Again...I told her it's on the forum and the HUMMER owner did receive the deal.
She told me to hold and went to check. About 3 min latter "Ra-Sha" "BeeYoch" came back and told me I got the deal..!!!! But..!!! That's it ..don't expect to get another one again.
So ..this deal must be some kind of special hidden from the average OnStar user deal....
Thanks..nychot. You Da Man...
And your right Toyota ain't got Ka-Ka...

Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
I dont understand.....If you use the free 30 mins they never stop bothering you about this 14 dollar deal you guys are talking about. I used the30 mins in the first 4 days i had my car. And every time i've called onstar since for any reason they've offered me more minutes for this super deal. I can go push it now and they'll do it. You guys just never used your mins up i guess. Also what does this tire service do? I had a flat and called onstar and a truck showed up in 10 mins changed my tire and left no questions asked. I didnt even get out. I never paid anything xtra. This is the free onstar that came with my car

thats it
i own a towing and repair shop and we tow for cross country.
cross country is who onstar uses for their towing and road service
and ur right there is no charge for this service to the customer.
but a tip to the tow truck driver or tire changer is always nice

Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
I got the same deal (100 minutes for $14.99) about 6 weeks after purchase. It seemed like a pretty good deal, so I jumped on it. I don't use the On-Star phone very often, but it's nice to know you have it.
