Default New Tahoe vs '08 H2

Hello Gang

Anyone have a 2010 or newer Tahoe "LTZ" and can compare fuel mileage to an 08 H2.

Any experience with both trucks would be appreciated.

Cant decide which way to go.

Thank You

I use to have a 2011. Roughly 17-18 mpg at highway speeds (75-80)
I never actually measured in town mpg but can say that it definitely felt worse than my 08 H2. Seems like little town runs were more costly in the Tahoe

The Tahoe with DOD will get 24mpg on the highway. I was given a Suburban as a rental and it did.

Thanks for the responses, I currently have a 2004 yukon Denali and another issue has popped up. I sat in a 2010 Tahoe LTZ with exact options I want and I did not fit, I'm 6'5". It seems the head liner is lower in the current Tahoes. And yes I have a sun roof in my Yukon currently. They changed something.

I had a 2012 Suburban the last time my H2 was in for dealer service/warranty, I averaged right at 17mpgs with combined driving for the few days I had it.
