Since you all were so helpful when it came to my trip to San Francisco, I thought I might reach out for help again.
I will be in San Antonio, 12/30 - 12/3. If anyone can tell me some good sights to see or places to check out,(besides the Alamo, uggh), please let me know. I'm gonna be a loner this time so places that are easy to get to and from would be great!
I know all you TEXAS people, SteveRH, Klint, HumbleAG, and a few other of you in TX...won't let me down!!!
Thanks!!!

The company I work for is in San Antonio.
I spend quite a bit of time there.
You can't go wrong with the River Walk. It's got places to shop, eat, relax, etc...
Plus, it's in walking distance of the Alamo.
Hell, I may be down there sometime around then too...

Damn, you are becoming a real jet setter aren't you
I has been many years since I was in San Antonio but Seth is right, the Riverwalk would be a good place to go.

Very cool. Thanks SFox. I'm not sure if I'll be leaving on the 3rd or leaving on the 4th. I'm shooting for the 4th b/c with the conference I won't be able to do much those first 2 days. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the announcment. Keep me posted! Thanks again!

Oh yeah...
Speaking of Austin, we're playing Austin on Dec 4th - 40 minutes drive North from San Antonio...
We're playing with a band called Madlife, who get a ton of play on Squizz (XM)...

Come on down, even if you aren't able to make the event we can still get together.

I'm flying in and staying at The St. Anthony (funny..the saint of the lost!!)
I would love to attend the event considering I've never been to one. Let me know if you know of anybody that would be willing to have a "buddy" ride along.

Hihummer, if you ever come down to Laredo, let me know. Laredo is only 2 1/2 hours from San Antone; it's next door to Mexico.

Seriously, most of our trucks only have one person in them and I'm sure finding you a ride will not be hard at all(most people like having a passenger along).
