Hey guys the top 4th of my Nav is real light in color compared to the rest of the unit. Any idea what is wrong with it? It's a factory unit by the way.

Display could be loose or going out, or might not have the right voltage to it. If your under warranty, have the dealership look at it. I've never seen one apart, but sometimes they're fed power and info thru a ribbon cable, you could check that connection if you want to take the dash cover off. Good Luck.

Well guys now today driving down to get some gas I get a message on the unit saying "Unit over heated turning off". The trucks only 3 months old so I'm taking it in to get fixed. I also noticed today a blown speaker sound coming from the roof inside. Any idea's?

Update:

After a few weeks of being out of town on business I finally got it in.

The noise from the roof ended up being the (HVAC) -temp sensor- and was a easy fix.

The Nav unit was fried. They had to order me a new one and will be doing all the work for free. Dealer said this is the first time they've ever dealt with that message ("over- heated, shutting down") or this problem before. In all they fixed it all no problems asked.
