I think it's becoming the new suicide by cop...
I've had my H3 for a month and a half, and I swear everyone wants to get hit by it. I wasn't going to post before, but now I'm sure it's true, these aren't just accidents!
A couple weeks ago, while going 50mph, this van waits to pull out and into the opposite direction of travel right when I'm about 100 feet away, then she stops in the middle of my lane and stares at me. I swerved into the right lane and avoided it.
Then today I'm going 50mph down a different road, and this lady in a van on the cell going north did a uturn at the light, right as I was going, she went over the first lane in tried to get into my lane (right lane). I swerved as much as I could, and accelerated hard to get out of there, right as I got past here, I look back and she is in my lane.
I didn't think anything happened, so I just slowed down waiting for her to come up so I could tell her to pull over while I checked for damage to be safe. Down to 15mph and she is still in the left lane, waiting behind my truck, hoping I can't see her I guess. So I stop, and she did another u-turn and sped away! I couldn't get the license plate, but I saw the same 2 magnetic things on her rear gate that I saw on the van that pulled out in front of me a couple weeks ago. I tried to follow but hit the red light and too much traffic.
I pulled over and checked for damage, and saw a little 1" / line on the drivers rear door flare thing. It turned out to be rubber or paint and after wiping at it, it ended up only leaving a very tiny scuff. Thankfully you can't see it and it didnt scratch through the paint. Not bad for getting hit at that speed, but that still pissed me off.
So that's one, there were 6 more incidents that I recall. Involving people pulling out and stopping in my lane, or merging into me. WTF?! I thought I was the one with all the blindspots, not minivans, civics, and small trucks....
I've maybe had 1 or 2 of these type things happen with my last cars, over the last couple years. So something is definately up!
Anyway, just kinda pissed that the ****ing bitch pulled a uturn and ran away..so I'm venting.

Thank you drty.
Next time someone brings up the fact that I drive an unsafe truck cause it's big and has a lot of blind spots, I'm going to run them over.

I've actually had that happen to me a couple times on expressways in Chicago. I think it's just stupid drivers.

Yeah, I know it's stupid drivers. And I wasn't going to bring it up cause **** happens. But I'm pretty sure this was the same van that pulled in front of me and stopped and starred at me...didn't pull into the median or right into the other lane where no cars were coming. That was just freaky, then what looked like the same van does another really stupid thing trying to get into an accident.

It's not just Hummers, it can be any vehicle. In TN it was a sport...pulling out and trying not to get hit. I totaled a company car in TN by broadsiding a Honda Civic, she pulled right out in front of me, from a shopping mall, while talking on the phone. The Franklin Cop actually got mad at me because I failed to render assistance. I explain I called 911, she pulled out in front of me (had plenty of witnesses), and I could care less if the a** was dead or not. She sure didn't crawl out of the car to see if I was hurt, and I was the one who had airbag an deploy in my face.
I honestly believe at times, you would be doing society a favor by planting a Hummer in their lap. Just refer to it as gene pool cleansing. Some people are just too dumb to drive, and when they glue a phone to their ear, they become downright dangerous to other drivers.

You should try Miami...
Here EVERYONE obeys the LAW !
The law of their own COUNTRY (all 113 of them)
Had 564 miles on mine when someone made a GEORGIA TURN on me. (right hand turn from the left lane) I had NO damage, just had to wipe his pin striping off my bumper, he had around $1500 damage plus was charged with the accident...
Thats one reason I bought BRIGHT YELLOW, I hoped everyone would see me easily, BUT I guess some are color blind.
One thing I do is angle both my outside mirrors out futher then normal making sure there is just a little crossover with the inside mirror which gives a little more overall view (try it, it does work... you won't see the sides of you doors but its not necessary)
Remember no matter how BIG your wheels YOU MUST BE A DEFENSE DRIVE, ALWAYS...

Sorry to hear about that dei.
When we lived in Los Angeles - people ran into my wife several times. Once totally wrecking our camry on the freeway by sending the wife and boy into a sound wall. The woman who
hit the camry didn't even stop, left her wheel mark on the driver's side rear door...maybe the other driver was on drugs.

HELLO!! I have the worst drive!~ I get to drive in Northern Virginia with the epitamy of stupid as fukk drivers. I've seen some people on here from that area and I am sure they will say the same. Just today I had a freakin lady trying to PUSH me into the median because she was trying to get into my lane before the light. HELLO dumbass bitch, did you not see the "Right Lane Must Turn" sign 100 feet back while you were in it????Why wait until 30 feet before the damn thing ends and you decide to try to take out a Hummer with your Ford Focus. Hummers don't feel good in the ass!!! I'm ready to give these people a Hummer enema~ A big Shadow Green Metallic one. Northern Virginia is the absolute WORST when it comes to common sense! If they want in your lane they WILL do whatever it takes to take you over no matter what your size. But I was told what ever you do, DO NOT MOVE for them, let them hit you. I mean they are just azzholes down there.

Be careful out there.
I have encountered sort of the same. I was in Sacramento interchage heading 80West when this bonehead tries to cut left in front of me so he can overtakes a big rig to get in front of it. However, when he sees me coming at 80 some mph, he immediately got back to his lane.
hehehe, i actually sees his little face on his side view mirror, scared shizzle.

Driving in Dallas is challenge and a pain. I keep forgetting that it is their road(s).
I have people tailgate so close that I can't see them in my side mirror - in the rearview mirror the top of the car is barely visible. Have had numerous occasions where folks just pull right out from side streets right in front of me.
Thankfully there's XM Comedy 150...

I've been wondering about the same thing. I've had the Hummer a week and I've never had so many people nudge into my lane or pull out in front of me in my entire life as i have over the course of this last week. Are people really trying to run me off the road? I'm gonna have to get an air horn in place of that dinky thing they call a horn in the front and start using my middle finger more often. i hate being rude, but if this is all intentional then i guess i'll have to start.

Two weeks before I got my H3 I was rear ended on the highway buy a guy in a POS '80s Cavalier. Messed up his front end and hood but only scuffed my bumper and mess up my hitch cover. Wasn't worth my time to file a report so I told him I didn't care if we just left. Didn't want to sit there on the side of the highway with the idiot on looks causing more wrecks. Anyway, four days after I got the H3 I am driving down the same stretch of highway and all I can see in the rear view mirror is the roof of the car behind me. If it were not brand new I probably would have done a brake check right then. I get to my exit and the car passes me and I could not believe it but it was the exact same idiot that hit me two week earlier. Hood and front end still f***ed up

I was in Dallas/Irving Area a month ago and have noticed that along H635. Don't see such aggressiveness on weekends though, a few might be just late at work.
DAMN, AVIS in Dallas/Ft Worth Airport sure has plenty of H3 to choose from. I think, i saw at least a dozen.
