Adam:
Extremely cool. What size and type tires are those?
Also: What size & maker of rims do you use?
Thanks,
George

Thanks. The wheels are Rock Crawler Series 97 (17x9) and the tires are BFG Mud Terrain (37x12.50x17).

The rims/tires look very sharp and very purposeful. Did you have to do anything to make them fit or did they just bolt on OK?
Also, how are they day-to-day on pavement?
Sorry for all the questions, but you definitely have the well tricked-out rig.
Thanks,
George

37s vs 35 stock tires. (BFG Mud Terrains)
The 37 MTs are good bit louder than the ATs, but they are easily bareable. They seem to wear great on and off road although I put the stock ATs on when I am going to be onraod for a good bit of time.

Kyle:
Thanks very much for the photos that illustrate the difference in the tires. Did they fit onto your rig without any suspension modifications?
Also: Absolutely awesome photo on the rocks.
Thanks
George

I have no suspension mods on that truck in order for it to accept 37" BFG MTs. Bone stock. They do rub a little. The front tires rub the sway bar on both sides, but so did my stock 35s. The 37s also do rub the wheel well liners in a couple of spots too under full articulation. It has never been a problem but once when it did a little damage on the rear driver wheel well trim. It ripped it a bit, but nothing that a little cutting with the dremel did not fix in about 5 minutes. All in all I say go for it. The ground clearance and wet traction the BFG MTs has added has been a GREAT help on many different trails.

I took a bumper measure when we were taking off the 35s and after we installed the 37s. It was 1.6" higher after the 37s. Those BFG MT 37s are HUGE tires. When I first saw them, I thought I had screwed up bad and they would not fit. Obviously they did. The difference in height if easily noticeable parked next to a stock H2 and you will notice a difference getting in and out of the truck as well.

Thats what i figured as stock tire height was 34.4 and you gain 1 inch of rubber between the ground and the wheel.......thanks!!!!
