Default Transmission question

I recently had transmission fluid spray out the back section of the tranny where the drive shaft yoke enters. i was told that it could be due to high pressure as a result of plugged trans filter or blocked vent? this only happened once on a long hwy trip. I just had the trans service done< anyone know where the trans vent would be located or had this same problem.

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Transmission question

The vent for the trans comes out of a rubber hose that should be clipped
onto the top of the transfer case. The trans may have been overfilled
during the trans service, and spit out excess fluid from the vent and ran
down looking like it was leaking from the rear seal.
