Yes it looks nice and is a cool idea...as long as is stays put and doesn't catch on clothing.

Ernie, do you have a full view from the side with the doors closed?

Urethane SJ 5816 self adhesive
Can use also a primer (I've not used because after the first month of test the rubber stay put without problem)
Primer S/grip Plastc 4475 3M

Time for installation....5 minutes...

x2! Is this something available at PepBoys/Autozone?

Tomp, won't Line-X scratch exposed legs? My kids are young enough that they slide down the side to get out (when my steps are off).

Ditto. I put some prety abrasuve grip tape on my XTC tube steps and during the first week, I scraped up the back of my legs several times dragging over the tubes. As a regular user of the vehicle, I trained myself out of it. But just last week my buddy got scraped up because he wasn't paying attention. It's better to avoid gritty stuff in the "peopler slider zones."

Line-X is not abrasive. A little rough, but it will not scratch you. However, it has rubber in it, so it may prevent them from sliding some
