Shameless plug directed at skiers :)
Just wanted to throw out there if any forum members were interested in skiing in Canaan Valley at Timberline ski resort let me know. I am sure me and the wifey could work out a special deal for forum members 
Heres a brief description of the joint along with a link of pics. This write up was done by our realtor in the valley.
Colpo di Fortuna is a beautifully decorated, exquisite home located near the foot of the Timberline Ski Resort. This architecturally designed multi-level home offers a warm and cozy atmosphere highlighted with a gourmet kitchen and circular driveway. The living room is located on the main level with beautiful furnishings which you can enjoy including a gas fireplace and flat screen TV. Off the living room is a spacious deck with an outdoor hot tub and gas grill. There are two lofts above the main level. The first has a foosball table for your enjoyment and the second a TV with Play Station and various games to keep the kids entertained. The lower level offers a ski entrance and a separate family room with a TV/DVD/VCR.
This home sits within a 1 minute walk to the slopes, lodge, and first chair lift of Timberline Ski Resort and within a few minutes drive to the Canaan Valley Ski Resort. Canaan Valley is the perfect place to visit in any season. Our cooler temperatures in the summer make it a perfect vacation place to get away from it all and just enjoy the beauty our majestic mountains have to offer.

My apologies for not better describing the location. below is some additional details.
Davis is located at  39?7′52″N, 79?27′59″W (39.131110, -79.466318) GR1. It is located in the northern portion of the Canaan Valley, West Virginia near the Canaan Valley State Resort Park, and is partially surrounded by the Monongahela National Forest including scenic Blackwater Falls.
Also, from Northern VA its a 3 hr drive door to door. The zip code is 26260 for those interested in checking distance from a particular area

Thanks Tower. My boss (woman) is Jewish with big cans and she gave me a Hummer for Christmas (remote control)
