Default 2007 hp increase

For those who have driven the 07's, is there any noticable increase in hp? 22hp increase doesn't seem like much.

It's not that noticeable.

Well I would have to say yes. I do feel it when going up hills or getting onto freeways. Not much but it is there. As you probably know, they went from 3.5 to 3.7 L. My guess there were some tweaks to the computer and the torque curve as well. The numbers do not tell all.

Of course there were changes to the PCM program that modified the power/torque curve; but most of these mods were due to the increase in HP and torque from the use of a larger bore engine.
I agree with Mike E, there is not that much difference, but I will say I have not tried driving up any large mountain roads in one. My experience is from rush hour traffic and one or two merges onto an interstate in non-rush hour traffic.

I did just drive an 06 with intake, exhaust, and a reprogram done to it. The mods didn't do a thing. As a matter of fact it seemed to be worse. It was a demo that the sales guy was driving. It was supposed to give 30 hp increase! There is NO WAY. My wife went along for the ride and she commented that it seemed sluggish. They want $900.00 to do just the reprogram. The only difference was that it was louder when you kicked it down. For the total package it would have been $2,500.
Just wish the old H3 had a little more Sh%* when passing etc..... It's nothing you haven't heard before.
Didn't know if it would be worth trading for an 07 or not.
Guess not!
