I live down in South Florida, and decided to venture out in the H3 after the storm. Obviously I had no problem getting through or over anything. I stopped by my friends house and noticed a small bolt with a washer still on it, wedged between my tread. It fell out on the way home, but my tire was half flat the next morning. I put on the spare...no prob, but I was pretty upset to say the least. Have any of you had probs with the stock 285/75's? How do they compare to BF's, Toyo's, etc...in terms of durability. I've been contemplating changing tires...guess this was a sign.

Not sure how you can blame a tire mfgr for running over a screw, that penetrates the tire. These Bridgestones are good tires, and even the best can get a flat if you run over a sharp object.
Three or four months ago, I plugged my kids BFG A/T on his wrangler and we made it his spare. He made the mistake of driving through a new subdivision and had a roofing nail.

Anyone who has been through a hurricane knows that there is sh!t everywhere and you run a high risk of damaging a tire if you head out. Doesn't matter how good/expensive your tires are, you hit something and it can cause damage. Hopefully it can be repaired. Glad you appear to have come out all right other than the tire though
