ok. first off, ive been watching you guys talk about gas mileage. Now in Canada it looks like Iam in km, and you guys are in miles.
1. So for your gas mileage on a tank in miles what would your miles be in km's. I have only filled up once and havent had to go back yet, so i was just wondering how many miles i would get, but my hummer only reads km's.

2. Exhaust system, i have been reading on that too, but it would really help if anyone has installed a system to give a little sound clip, i have heard one, but would like to hear more, any help?

3. i have the 285 tires, and i find even in rain the whole truck gets covered in debris, does the factory mud flaps really help on limiting this?

4. i have only had the hummer now for like 1 1/2 and i have came across idiots that say oh you have a hummer sweet, after they look at it comments like Oh its the baby hummer, Oh its only 5 cylinder, oh its smaller than i thought, oh its like a minivan, Iam getting totally annoyed at these kinda comments, expecially after iam the one making the payments on such a nice truck, any advise, comments that i can slash back to shut them the heck up at that moment.I dont like to be rude, but man it really is hitting a nerve with me. Was just wondering if any one has ever come across such negativety on there hummer.
5. does anyone have any pictures of there hummer with different tint? I see black all the time, any one different.

Here in woodstock ontario canada, there are 2 H2 and Iam the only one so far with a H3, i would really like to be different, stand out from the rest. I am considering different tint, some sort of front window banner, and exhaust.
so if you have any pictures of your hummer with these upgrades i would love to see them.

i will attatch my last truck that i traded in for my hummer. i took a 99 sonoma, and dressed it up a bit to make it mine. I also had a fiberglass topper on it too, but its not in the pic.

thanks for listening and i would love to hear from you on any of the topics. Emails are always welcomed as well.

Welcome aboard catgirl. Love the 4-wheeler; do a lot of that here in the interior of Alaska. Just want to comment on one of your questions/comments. I have got nothing but great comments about my H3, well except for the guy that said it "was cute". I think he just gay curious and had nothing better to say LMAO. Oh, and I have a nice ass. LOL As a matter of fact, I have found that people tend to treat me better (almost kiss my ass at times) at gas stations, pull up coffee stands, in parking lots, at the GM dealer, etc. I have also been flirted with by admiring women, with my wife nearby!! Overall, it's a head-turner and it gives me a whole new attitude behind the wheel. So far, it's all good.

Hiya catgirl.

The factory mud guards keep some of the splash off the side of the truck, but not all of it. I too have the 285 tires and I put the mud guards on soon after I got the truck.

Can't help with the km/miles conversion, I'm still having trouble calculating dog years.

And as for those guys that make rude comments, you are probably best just ignoring them. They are likely just jealous and will just continue if you egg them on.

One more thing, if the H3 stops getting the attention you want, try driving it around topless. Works, eh HI? (kidding of course)

Enjoy it!

One mile = 1.609344k It should be easy to figure from there.

Hope that helps.

Catgirl, I'm from Ontario too (Oakville/Burlington area) and I've gotta tell ya, I've had more compliments than smart ass comments, but yeah there has been a fair share of idiots voicing their opinions...

A few weeks ago I was parked and in the truck, when a guy coming out of a store starts talking about the truck. The guy looked like he just fell in slush, rolled a few dozen times, got up and smacked his face into a stop sign. His comments were: "Wow that's the H3! Wow it's smaller, looks like a Jeep, but man it does look like a Hummer..." All while spending a good few mins standing behind it staring at it.

Yeah, confused me too. Looks like a jeep but looks like a Hummer... ok...

After this two freaks with mullets heading towards a bar at 2pm walk by the truck and shake their heads.

Look at it this way, the people who make negative comments towards the vehicle are always those who can't have it. Their opinions are ruled by childish mentality of cry and destroy if you can't have it.

Sometimes they deserve a great comeback, but most often just smiling and giving them the thumbs up kills them.

Also from Ontario, Mississauga/Brampton area. Most of the time its thumbs up, but the odd time I get stupid comments. The comments don;'t bother me I just don't want anybody to damage it out of spite.

Enjoy it!

From the Burlington area as well. Gotta love the H3. I am still in the market but having the urge to drive something fast....which is contradicting the urge to drive over **** !! One day I will figure this out and get what I want. All you locals make sure you wave to a '98 black Sahara cause one day I will be an owner as well. Play safe !

Whatever Humble Fag!

I am just so jealous of her old hillbilly Sonoma.

It was kinda a compliment that she got rid of that POS and got a Hummer.

Hey dumb ass.

I was responding to her original post about people commenting about her H3. I didn't even notice your little post about the Sonoma. I realize you likely think the world revolves around you, but here's a news flash...it doesn't.
