Answer to question one was found using the "Find" feature and typing in "DRL":

Answer to number two:
Where the seatbelt.

And welcome to the forum.

Ken,
I've got a question that I don't see covered in the referenced thread. Do the headlights need to be manually turned on and off at night after this mod? I mean will the headlights come on at night or dusk and the DRL's in daylight if the selection is switch is set to (auto)? Or are both sets of lights simply on or off with no auto function?
thanks

And welcome to the forum.

Found the answer on another thread. Sorry I didn't fully research before asking:

Is this right and if so...please tell me this is something that Hummer Girl can do????

If you can pry open a can of paint with a flat blade, you can do this. The hard part may be stripping the wires. That's the extend of the difficulty.

You are correct on all of the above questions.

Auto - Parking lights with DRLs during day. At night, DRLs, parking and head lights. You can also turn off the DRLs during the day which will also turn off the parking lights.

Parking - Parking lights with DRLs.

On - All lights

great mod, but make sure you do the other part too. don't just use the wire jumper only. Adam and I both kept going through marker light bulbs becasue we didn't put the diode in.
I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but it was definite for the both of our rigs.

Hi timgco Taz here.
I have had this mod for a while now and not had trouble with marker lights going bad. Is this an exception to the rule and why would You suspect I have not burned out bulb by now. My curiosity is peaked on this. I read the diode install but thought I would like markers lights on with DRL just to make it even more visible to the knuckle heads out on the road, as if You could make H2 any more noticable. Did Your marker light burn out right away or did it take awhile. If need be I will get a diode today and put it on. What is Your thought on this. I'm quite puzzled as I know with out a doubt the 2 of You know what Your talking about and I'm driving around oblivious to the possibilty of markers burning out. I checked this morning and they are still all burning. I would appreciate any theory You may have on My situation. It may just be dumb luck on My part.
I appreciate Your help and thoughts on My situation.

Has anyone else had the same problem with their side markers. I've had the mod on my sut for about 2 months and was unaware that people were having any problems. I am going to check but I think both my side markers are in perfect working order. Tim how long did you have the mod before experiencing the problems?
