Default Greeting and salutations.

Greeting and salutations.

I just wanted to introduce myself and thank you guys for all the great info (and the good natured BS) contained in this forum. I?ve been lurking about this and several other forums since I got my H3 back in August and have benefited greatly from all your input regarding mods, accessories and mechanical issues. Hopefully I?ll have something of value to contribute in the coming months/years.

I?ve been four wheeling since 1978, primarily in the black gumbo mud of North Central Texas. I?ve spent a lot of time playing in the Trinity River bottoms, various lakes and miscellaneous local stock ponds and creeks. (Watch out for the ?Stank Mud?) I?ve done a little hill climbing (think gravel quarries) but no serious rock crawling or mountain trails. For the latter, I?ll just have to live it vicariously through you guys.

Now for the H3.

Standard base model with a 05/2006 build date
Black on Black ? Minimal Chrome
KATZKIN leather upgrade -- Ebony/Morocco
Stock rims and tires.

Note: There was not a single manual tranny or Adventure package on the lot
at the time of purchase.

Future plans.

Truxxx leveling kit or a Torsion bar crank with new shocks
Factory front mud guards
Some new 16? after market rims
Super Swamper TrXus Mud Terrain 34x12.50R16LT
SMA heavy duty brush guard.
Roof rack and basket.
Aux lighting

And??

A tasteful amount of add-on chrome/polished accessories.

(I'm going for a sort of Black Tux with Hip Waders look???heh heh heh)

Post warranty expiration

Intake/Exhaust
PCM tune
Lift kit.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Hopefully I'll have some mod pictures by year end, followed by some
"breakin it in" photos.

The SMA grill guard just came in (Sorry HG/Brian) and my tires/wheels
should be on order within the week. Lights as well.......

Regards,

Gunner_45
