o'tay...here is what we have.

Both front grab bars (on the A pillars) had drips coming off the bottom of them. I have found a thread telling me this leak is most likly the front center lights. Anyone else have any ideas? Also how the heck do I take those lights off to put sealer around them?

the three center lights pull right off with careful prying. It's too bad these weren't attached with screws thus less likelihood of any leaks. g'luck

So I guess I should have to pry them with plastic flat tip screw drivers or something.

Hey, at least I do not have to take the head liner out.

Take this problem to the dealer. On mine, they had to replace some type of retainer on them also. Another reasone to make them fix it would be for documentation. Who knows if that water found it's way to electrical acc's.
It's not a tough fix. It could also be your sunroof drain plugs are not fully open allowing some water in too.

Good luck.

Good point Tim. The only thing I hate about the dealer is it's about 2 hours away. In the winter I do not really have to worry much - but this is new since summer. It didn't do it all summer with HARD rain. I will have to check it out. lucky for me it was not MUCH water at all!

Kinda ghey this issue has been going on with the H2 since the begining and nothing has been changed. I sould live in the desert.

I should add, that I called HUMMER customer service on my first leak, and we went though everything I did. It was cool that HUMMER went that far to check in about the problem after I reported it. They even called me later, much later to see if I had any other issues.

No water from my "chicken grips" yet.

The marker lights have a tab on one side that helps removal. Unfortunately you can't tell which side its on to press it. Try pulling the light to one side a bit then up. If it doesnt come out try going the other way.

One of mine had a split in the seal and caused a nice leak into the roof console.

Damn leaky ass truck. I have not had this many leaks on anything. Did you have any water showing (pouring) our of the center console? I have not had that...yet.

Oh yeah! It filled up and started leaking out of the Homelink buttons and around the courtesy lights. I started moving and a stream of water came out, ran down the dash between the vents, and straight into the NAV slot. The touchscreen was unuseable for days until it dried out. There was a visible puddle trapped beind the screen.

I watched the service writer enter it into the computer in case it croaks down the road. Its been fine since though...

It may also be the side marker lights. Remove the handles, pull the pillar cover off, and run water down the channel of the roof rack into the marker light to check for a leak there.

I wish it is...or maybe not. In the past I took both front marker lamps off and sealed them with permatex. So I am hoping my "repair" was good...but could be some kids were messing with it or something!

I need to break out the hose and do some drip tests...I am hoping it is not a screw some place that does something on the slids. (the part of the roof that the bars slide on)

I feel like painting the roof with permatex. Just get it done! LOL!

Thanks again for your help Ken!

I thought of that the other day. "Wonder how a Line-X'ed roof would be?"
