Default Airing up tires after wheeling

Need to know some options for airing up the tires after wheeling. I do not have the on board air system. What is everyone using?

Power tank. It takes about 30sec/ tire. I aired up five times so far and will have to refill soon. It's safe and works very well. I've given up on compressors. they take too long. The power tank takes up some room, but IMO, it's worth it.

is the power tank like a high pressure scuba tank sort of thing? I assume you get it filled up at a dive shop or something on that order?

No, not a scuba tank. Read the info on the web site I provided. It goes through a FAQ. Scuba tanks are completely different in cylinder and valve design and scuba tanks cannot be used in place of a CO2 tank.

Any welding shop can fill these. It costs me around $9.00 to fill it.

My onboard air compressor takes forever with 37s. I usually just drive it to a gas station.

The air tanks are great but they are $$$.

With a tank that has enough pressure, you can also reseat a bead if necessary.

I have the air suspension, but I've been looking at these recently:

http://www.central4wd.com/category.a...id%7C5579&menu=

http://store.towshop.com/store/more_...Category_ID=41

Central 4wd is about $100 more than Ride Rite stuff. I haven't checked the air tank prices yet, but I've seen them in action and they're way fast.

If you're planning on running air tools, you won't want to go with the ride-rite/firestone one.... here's what it says in the manual:

THIS KIT IS NOT DESIGNED TO RUN AIRPOWERED TOOLS.
THE COMPRESSOR IS DESIGNED TO RUN AT A 20% DUTY
CYCLE WITHA MAXIMUM RUN TIME OF 6 MINUTES. PLEASE
ALLOW ADEQUATE TIME FOR THE COMPRESSOR TO COOL
BETWEEN RUNNINGS.
