Re: Plowing with a H2?
All my friends that have plows on their trucks say that a plow really eats up front end components, and these are SFA trucks. I would say if that is true that an IFS truck would be more prone to failures given the fact that there are some more components on IFS as opposed to SFA. I guess if its only to plow your driveway or something it would be fine, but if you want to be plowing more then that I would stay away.

Re: Plowing with a H2?
If it's personal, get an ATV and put a plow on it! A much better unit--imo!
Want to make some bucks!--Get a 1 Ton, and put a "V" plow on it!----BLADES SUCK!....Except on long runs.
But, If you do get a blade, have the Deflector, and side guard installed, (for MOVING snow) and make sure..Make Sure!!....You throw several bags of Ice Melt across the axle!...Bags Weigh 50#...I carry 1000# (and more) in the bed of Lil Ugly, to offset the weight of the Boss V..About 5K! ...SELL, @ substantually higher prices! And Aid in traction!...........Plus it helps level the truck!.
Also!, If it's a heavier unit, (one of the good ones) you'll probably need a set of Tembrins for the front.
Probably didn't answer your Question, but had some time to burn!

Re: Plowing with a H2?
This plow fits into your front hitch. Power up and down. Left and right is manual. Works great!
