Mother has images painted on vehicle
7/14/2006 5:22:11 PM
Fallbrook Bonsall Village News
CAMP PENDLETON ? Karla Comfort received a lot of looks and even some salutes from people when she drove from Benton, AR, to Camp Pendleton in her newly painted custom Hummer H3 March 2. The vehicle is adorned with the likeness of her son, 20-year-old Lance Cpl. John M. Holmason, and nine other Marines with F Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, who were all killed by the same improvised explosive device blast in Fallujah, Iraq, last December.
For Comfort, having the vehicle airbrushed with the image of the ten Marines was a way to pay homage to her hero and his fellow comrades who fell on Iraq?s urban battlefield.
?I wanted to let people know [Marines] are doing their jobs honorably, and some of them die,? said the 39-year-old from Portland, OR. ?I don?t want people to forget the sacrifices that my son and the other Marines made.?

Still obsessed with sexual orientation, huh? I think somebody's got a problem.
And the news story was dated July 14, 2006.

Re: Mother has images painted on vehicle
The airbrushguy is about 40 minutes from shop and almost across the street from Our Hummer dealership. He is a great guy and extremely talented.
He is who we use if someone requests real elaborate airbrushing. We have or had a guy that knows how to use the airbrush and mixing formula's but, this is the go to guy. Our guy had issues. Dragon and I had discussed sending Him to a finishing school of sorts if you could call it that. He is gone female problems. There is another USAF airman that just started playing with airbrush last summer and did flames that looked like the guy and i appoligize i forget the guys name in CA hat is considered to be the best flame man in USA. But, this airman did a motorcycle tank that looked identical to the style and technique used by CA artist.
You have to be an artist first and a airbush skilled person next. You can teach anyne to use an airbrush gu but, You cannot teach them to do art work. I wish i could You want to talkabout laughing all the way to the bank for the fun it is 'm told and like the airbrushguy and his skills command a huge amount of money. But, Him donating His time to this project is not surprising to central Arkansas. Anytime you find an auction for charity You find something he has done and given away. I just keep watching for a full all over airbrush donation. Not sure what i want to do with it bu, have a good idea and a new SUT.
