Now we already knew that right ? well it seems in my post readings, that the H3 will be overwhelmingly popular (estimated 100,000 per year) and I think Jeep will really feel the Hummer heat as Gm begins to dominate the market.

XMER, I have the same gut feeling. I am sure the H3's will be very capable and able to do some things the h1,2 can't. That's what it's all about. It will be a blast to go out on the trails with all 3 Hummers!!!!!

Yah the (non off roading) wife factor can be an issue, plus she is an accountant too.
I have to get her to sell the Jetta sedan and give her the wagon and get the H3. I just know that some point in time I will have a Hummer H3.
I am excited about the H3 it will pick up where the Cherokee left off. I cant wait to see what it does off road being it will have the samr 4X4 system as the H2.

I'm wondering how many H2 owners will dump the H2 for an H3.

I too am looking forward to the H3, perhaps with a smaller engine and lighter weight we'll see some decent mpg? Perhaps we can get the environmentalist off our backs too!
I understand that there are plans to evolve/develop an H4 that will be gunning after the Rubicon-sized market. The H4, if made accordingly....will be about the size/width of a D90 and feature nice and aggressive offroad goodies.
I can only dream that they'll allow me to be part of the design and R&D team...but why in the world would GM want their consumers to have any input into the design of their products....that would just make too much sense!!??
